What flavor makes you happy? For some, it's chocolate. For others, vanilla. Yet another, likes strawberry. So too is it with Wellness.

There are many "medicines" in our lives. For some who need to cleanse their bodies, maybe drinking lots of lemon water tea is needed. For another who has deprived themselves of too much joy for fear of doing it "wrong," perhaps a double scoop of rocky-road and cherry-garcia is in order!

Maybe your medicine is singing, dancing or fixing car motors. Maybe you always wanted to roller skate, plant flowers, make widgets, or play basketball. You may or may not be a master at it, but maybe that is exactly what you need to do today to bring healing and wellness to your body and life. Doing what makes us feel alive and connected to our own unique Spirit can be just the medicine we need today.

Listen to what is being prompted inside of you. Explore your options. Have fun with it even! Maybe you always wanted to try acupuncture. Then try it. Maybe you are curious about working with an energy healer. Then ask the Universe to connect you with a good one. Maybe this cycle you would like some nurturing massage, or super healthy food, or maybe you simply want to ask for more hugs. Or maybe it's time for a big 'ol double scoop! Listen. To what's inside of you. Maybe it's the medicine your Spirit is needing today.

You don't always have to do "what will make you well." You are moreover being called to Do what makes you Happy.

great post alexa being happy in myself i do try to heal myself the natural way very rarely take any medicines an invigorating walk clears the head and aids clearer thinking.listening to some types of music soothes the self allowing for relaxation. Upbeat music stirs the soul and creates a wow factor so this is my flavouring on some aspects of my life

Good point. We have to remember to define our real "Medicine" with that which brings us harmony and wellness. It's always up to us to discern, "is this really making me Happy?" It can be real warrior work. Still, we can learn to have fun with it. And go towards that which really does feel peaceful and well. hugs today. thank you for adding that piece of clarity. so important too!

There are of course some medicines that aren't good for you. A major reason for my using alcohol and drugs was to medicate myself, to numb myself. I don't need that kind of medicine.
