conscious wellbeing for ourselves & our world
Stepping Into Sacred Space
This week I would love to inspire you in taking some time to consider creating or using your sacred space in your daily routine. Often we are called to our sacred spaces, whether that is a literal space... in your home or a simple moment of prayer, when we are deep in contemplation or emotional need, but we can also use this practice principle to maintain and build our sense of balance and center in our daily lives. And it can become so inviting. comforting. and as important to our daily lives as all of our other requirements.
Do you have a sacred space just for you in your home? If not, where might you find one. It can be a room, a corner, or even a short but effective practice you can perform anywhere you are seated during your day.
Think about the feeling you have received or would like to receive more of in your daily life as you get ready for a busy or routine week. And take a moment to breathe in the comfort you may feel as you think about meeting with this feeling and the divine in you this week. How would it feel to connect with the love and support of taking care of yourself and your need for balance or personal connection this week. Be inspired!
"When we open sacred space, we leave behind the affairs of ordinary life, the bustling world of meetings and schedules, and prepare to meet the Divine. Sacred space allows us to enter our quiet inner-world where healing takes place. Within sacred space our burdens become lighter, and we can be touched by the hand of Spirit. Sacred space also gives us access to the luminous healers, the medicine men and women who assist us from the Spirit world.
Sacred space is a healing sphere that is pure, holy and safe. We can create sacred space and summon the healing power of nature anywhere on Earth. Much of our fear and pain derives from the feeling that the world is not a safe place for us. Within sacred space everyone is protected."
