Today in the US is Veterans Day, a day to honor those who have served in the armed forces. This day reminds me that some sort of service can be an integral part to our healing process. Being in service to someone or something is a good way to pay forward the blessings we receive; it's a good way to "get out of myself" and it's a blessing to be able to do something for somebody else. We all know what service is and the types of opportunities available to us. Most times I'm so caught up in myself, living my life and going through my own process, that I ftend to forget about others on the journey with me. Something as simple as offering a word of encouragement can be of service to someone. It makes them feel supported and noticed and it can make me feel like I made a little difference in someones life.

hello Eric thank you for posting these thoughts I know where you are coming from there are so many ways of being a service to someome i find a listening ear works well sometimes that is all people may want someone to listen to them. Bringing a smile to their faces. I have just sent some cards to some friends one has just moved house, she was so pleased to be remembered in her time of need, another was feeling really down and alone and well she couldn`t wait to phone me to say thank you. Doing something for others needn`t be something that stretches your limitations. Sometimes we all get to the point when we wonder what we are at. I feel it is when we don`t recognise these things we have a problem. Will take a moment in my day to remember the veterans love and peace to you Eric is an online global community creating personal freedom and conscious wellbeing for ourselves and our world

 May we be at peace
May our hearts stay open
May we remember the light of our own true nature
May we and all beings be completely healed
