conscious wellbeing for ourselves & our world
Along with many animal protection organizations nationwide, Tree Sisters.org is my favorite new cause and movement on the planet, and I just had to write about it. Tree Sisters is a global feminine-based movement that is joining thousands of women from around the world to accomplish one unified, profound and imperative goal: to reforest, re-green and save the planet over the next 2 decades. And they are doing it!
Let me tell you why I am a Tree Sister. Maybe you already are a tree sister/ tree lover too. And maybe you'd like to become a TreeSisters.org reforesting sister and tree-funder today. The work they are doing is amazing!

Tree Sisters - Reforesting the Earth, Saving & Re-Greening the Planet
Do you feel called?
Why I am A Tree Sister....
I am a Tree Sister because I love this Earth. Before Tree Sisters I was tired of witnessing the destruction of the magnificent planet and home we’ve be given that sustains us and gives us life. I was beyond tired of watching trees being systemically clear cut all over the world including right here in my own local neighborhood. I was tired of witnessing as global warming escalates and biodiverse ecology and precious vital species of animals and wildlife continue to suffer displacement and extinction, including right here in my own, literally, backyard. And I was tired of feeling helpless, hopeless, and most truly like there was nothing I could do as one single concerned woman that would really make a difference.
Enter Tree Sisters.
Then I learned of Tree Sisters. It took less than a minute (a few seconds really) for me to see that this is quite easily one of the most inspiring and powerful movements taking place today. And I just had to be part of it. At Tree Sisters I saw Women - women like you and me - combining efforts from around the world to plant billions, yes, billions of trees. That is the goal. And they are already planting thousands.
I’ve always believed in the potential of one million people donating just $1 a month to create enormous and paradigm shifting local and global change. At Tree Sisters they are doing it. I felt the power of thousands of women coming together and funding the work of hundreds of other women in small villages and towns around the globe who are planting the trees. I mean, the vision and practical change and number of trees already planted and created by this organization astounded me. And it’s growing.
Today I feel inspired, empowered and joyful to be part of the Tree Sisters team. Gone is the fear, the hopelessness, the helplessness I once felt. In its place lives excitement, awe and deep connection to my feminine soul and the feminine soul of the world. And through Tree Sister’s monthly online gatherings and teachings, I can see that the potential to expand this work and movement into local areas as well, to reforest our earth and also our fierce and wild feminine shamanic hearts, is limitless and profound.
To become one with thousands of influxing women from around the globe answering the deep and vital call to reforest and re-green our precious Earth today is something I couldn't walk away from. It is deeply exciting, because it is so vitally important and urgent too. To know that this action is occurring and being carried through is the single most exciting event I can imagine happening on our shared and interconnected sacred planetary soil today. And it is being accomplished by women coming together as one, as one potent, powerful, care- and life-giving feminine force.
I simply could not not be a part of this campaign.
