Meditation: Finding magic in the tiniest of things

Look around you. There is magic in the tiniest of things. So much beauty. So much grace.

When the world fails to make sense, remember that Divinity is everywhere too. Angels leave their footprints in many places, large and small, to remind us that we are still Connected. And that everything is going to be alright.

- may you find love, beauty and magic in the tiniest things today.

Dear Alexa,

You did drop me some healing treats - your kind words and thoughts. Well the flu has flown now :-)

Sorry to hear your body's hurting. I hope things are much better very soon. I hear so much about thyroid problems in women our age group and older. This will most likely be a temporary problem for you until your body re-balances. I've spoken to quite a few women who told me that when they got well from various illness their thyroid balanced out.

Well Doreen Virtue has been on my read list this week. I'm dipping in and out of her lastest Archangel Michael book. It's not a big read, but one you can read for 20 minutes here and there and feel good at the end of it.

Sending you healing thoughts and (((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))

Hi Maria. Am so sorry to hear your are flu-ing. Maybe your body is doing some good cleansing. With the fever, sweats and even shakey chills, can be throwing out some stuff and cleaning out. I hope so. And hope you feel better soon!

I'm taking a homeopic remedy for the chemical-cleansing and it seems to be helping. I'm also in a really quiet centered space. Taking it slow. Feels good. Yes, shifting something. One day at a time. And always looking for a good read. Tried the new "Autumn" book by the guy who heads up the DailyOm site. He's a nice writer, good writer, but the book was more for those beginning on a spiritual journey I think. Not so great. You? Anything interesting on the read list?

Yes, always working on remembering and steps to better self-nourishment. In general my body is hurting alot and trying to figure out how to do better internal cleansing w/out weight loss. That's quite a challenge for me as I am having some hyper-thyroid too. But gentle nourishment on all levels, that's on the agenda today 4 sure.

Maria, I send you so many wishes to feel even better soon. Big hugs and if I could I'd drop you by some healing treats today. love and light, Alexa

Hi there Alexa,

Well things haven't been going to plan, but isn't it true that 'I make plans and then God laughs at me?'. I had an unwanted guest turn up on Friday evening - the Flu bug. The usual freezing cold sensations, boiling hot, sweats, swollen glands, throat thats been chewing razor blades and sneezing x a million - the full nine yards. Fortunately things have eased off and I managed to get some fresh air, sunshine and petrol for my car today. Just easing back into life slowly. But like the old saying 'nothing happens to me, everything happens for me' seemed relevant. It's been days of reflection, not even rumination but quite positve in it's own way.

Anyway my lovely friend, How are you? How is your chest and health in general? Are you reading anything that nourishes you at the moment? Are you being kind to yourself and remembering who you are? I look forward to your reply.

Much love as always,

Maria x
