Many times when one thinks of change it is based on something that we are going to receive. Change can also have a lot to do with what we are willing to get rid of.
Like a hot air balloon that goes up when you remove the sand from it. So many of us hesitate to throw the sand out and still anticipate we will continue to move upward.
Making changes in lifestyle choices that are harmful, relationships that no longer serve us, or a job or business that is no longer fulfilling (to name just a few), lightens our load and frees us up to soar even higher. As the expression goes, upward and onward.
It takes courage to change and the willingness to experience the pain associated with any changes one makes. Stepping out in faith and growing through the painful part to experience the long term growth in our lives is the empowering part.
If you are experiencing pain or discomfort from changes that you are courageous enough to make that is awesome you are growing!
When the benefits of change are realized, the pain of the change is quickly forgotten.
I do not advocate making changes hastily. Evaluate the situation and then take action to change. Greater sameness does not create greater results. And doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results is one definition of insanity.
So lighten your load and free yourself up to soar upward to your continued growth that you so richly deserve.
Changes in life are inevitable, the growth part is optional.
