Then why do we have so much resistance to doing it?
Make today different. and Just do it.
Take 10 minutes today to just sit and be with yourself. If your "monkey mind" is spinning, let that be ok.
Just sit with yourself somewhere quiet and private for 10 minutes.
And if you have the courage...
do it again tomorrow.
Take your new practice one day at a time.
Give yourself permission to miss a day, or even 2.

It may feel uncomfortable.
Just sit in your chosen space, with all of your angst and resistance, or with your surprising new feeling of surrender, and sit for 10 minutes. Just breathe, you can even let the mind go wherever it goes.
