"I release my barbaric YAWP from the roofs of the world" Walt Whitman. I've always thought this idea of releasing a cry from my soul, a shout to the universe, saying "I'M HERE" is a powerful way to feel an aliveness. I can picture the person in the icon above, who is sitting on a craggy cliff, alone, getting ready to release their YAWP. I don't know where Walt Whitman got the word YAWP from but to me it seems perfect for the action. It seems to sum everything up very consisely. Say it - YAWP. It makes me smile just saying it. Now, imagine releasing a bellow from somewhere on high, YAWPING for all your worth. What an excellent way to give notice to the universe "I'm Here! Pay Attention to me! Listen to me!" I am ALIVE." Acknowledge yourself by releasing your YAWP every now and again. Your shout to the world is VERY powerful. See what happens.

AWESOME. You all have made my day. We should set some mutual time, when collectively we go to some high place and in unision release our YAWP. The world will hear us and know we are here!

We enter this world with a small gurgled yawp saying to the world, "Yes, I am here."

So, let us yawp from the tree tops, and high cliffs, let us yawp from shore to shore or within our homes, to remind the universe we are here…
We matter! We count! We finally (for some) have a voice!

Thank you Eric for allowing us to become excited about the mere syntax of the word YAWP!
