The signals our bodies use to tell us we need to cleanse ourselves physically, mentally, and emotionally are multifaceted and often mirror symptoms we associate with illness. If we heed these signs, we not only feel better quickly but also stave off poor health before it can start. These quick fixes for common ailments can get you started.
Yes, my hubby and I are in a place of change and challenge. I am allowing my feelings to flow their course and reminding myself to find that place of Being and to connect to it regularly. This can also be a time of strengthening and non-reactivity. This is a great teaching by Eckart Tolle. I intend to take it one moment at a time and to see how all unfolds. I am in the unknown, and there is a part of me that feels that ok, we'll stay connected to What Is and see where we are led next. There is… Continue

I do not believe that everything in life is meant to be a teacher. We can find ourselves getting hypervigilant with spirituality if we let ourselves. And sometimes life just flows and things happen. For example, sometimes when you drop a mug, you are just dropping a mug! One of my teachers named don Miguel Ruiz said to me once, an accident is just an accident. And he was right too. He is also a master of letting things go. And acceptance for that matter. He's been through his own recovery… Continue
It is our natural inclination to judge people, since it happens without our even thinking about it. We take one look and summarize a whole person. This habit comes from the mind’s need to categorize the world in order to be able to function without becoming overwhelmed. When we judge, we are looking for pertinent information, trying to determine whether the person approaching is a threat, an… Continue

Well yesterday went pretty well for me. Slept better last night too than I have in awhile with all this ... thank god! The weekends are great b/c eric and I get to play together. helps to keep the focus on better things. took the dogs to what we call "Disney Land for dogs" (a great dog park with a river to play in, horses, and everything fun for dogs dogs dogs) and did some window shopping and gardening too - and it looks (and felt) nice. There was even a film on about Georgia O'Keefe in the… Continue
I am a legacy breaker. I have consciously sought to heal and free myself of the family beliefs, patterns and system I grew up in. The Toltec's call this "breaking our domestication." And I have been aware of doing this for most of my life.
It's not that I don't love my family now. Or that I see them as "less than" who and what they are. But I have sought to be Free, consciously, and no one else in my family has done this. I have often thought of the fact that even symbolically, I am… Continue
Wow. I came across this video this a.m. and it really helped to re-connect me to myself. Sharing it here with the group. What a great story and journey. It brought me back to my own journey connecting with dolphins in the wild, my soul and my self… Continue

Well, we passed the 9/9/9 and many of us have truly experienced completions. My hubby and I just closed down our old home in SantaFe, New Mexico. We had a friend renting it for 3 years and she moved out at the end of August. We are now ready to sell it, and let go of our old home of 11 wonerful years. It really was quite the completion on a powerful and healing chapter of our lives.
Here is another article I came across in the… Continue
We all go through times when we wish we could press a fast-forward button and propel ourselves into the future and out of our current circumstances. Whether the situation we are facing is minor, or major such as the loss of a loved one, it is human nature to want to move away from pain and find comfort as soon as possible. Yet we all know deep down that we need to work through these experiences in a conscious fashion rather than bury our heads in the… Continue

When we are fully present, we offer our whole selves to whatever it is that we are doing. Our attention, our integrity, and our energy are all focused in the moment and on the task at hand. This is a powerful experience, and when we are in this state, we feel completely alive and invigorated. This kind of aliveness comes easily when we are absorbed in work or play that we love, but it is… Continue
