The Qur’an says several times that Allah is most Merciful and Forgiving but also says many times that He gives severe punishment. Is He Forgiving or Revengeful?
1.Allah is most Merciful
The Qur’an says several times that Allah is the most Merciful. In fact all the 114 Surahs i.e. chapters of the Glorious Qur’an except for Surah Taubah chapter 9, begin with the beautiful formula, Bismillah-hir-Rahman-nir-Rahim, which means, "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most…Continue

I am honored to have this opportunity and I would like to begin by saying that all of you have an equal responsibility. That responsibility is to listen with an open heart and an open mind. In a world filled with prejudice and cultural conditioning, it is very hard to be able to find people to take a moment to think about life objectively and try to arrive at the truth about this world and the real purpose of our…Continue
Yes, it’s been a long road, getting from there to here and it’s been a tiring walk at times which has caused me to stop and rest awhile along the way. Some of the rest stops have lingered too long and the memories of harsher times float past begging me to emotionally participate once again.

Thus, the assertion “none other has ever known”. The light that transforms is not instilled by… Continue
Our health, our sense of physical well-being, is the sum of all that we are on this plane. The mental, physical and spiritual aspects of this marvelous vehicle that we have been given are indivisible and should be reassembled after study, debate and profit sharing.
The failure to address the whole is the perennial Achilles heel in this process and yet the area most amenable to change. Arrogance, ego, turf battles, cynicism and such have not been accepted as viable healing tools. The… Continue
Healing and recovery can be awesome. It is a process. It's a process that can take a long time. It is one that can be a drag and can make us feel like we're trudging along the road. I've been stuck, feeling like I'm not moving and not healing and not making any progress. The truth is. I am. I've been revisiting my healing journey and examining those things I did in early recovery that got me through and helped me. I'm finding it VERY helpful to go back and almost start the process again. I feel… Continue
This Is What I’ve Learned
MIND – BODY – SPIRIT
Here are three questions that just might make you think! Some of you may know the answer right off the top of your head, others of you, well, may never have really thought of these things. Here you go:
1. Do you know who you are?
2. Do you Love yourself?
3. Do you know what makes you tick?
When asked who you are, I’m not talking about any profession, career, or job that… Continue
