April 15th is almost here! Are you ready?

Simple things you can do

1. On April 15, 2009, around noon in your local time zone, pause for a moment and imagine your life filled with spectacular, joyful Abundance. Feel how joyful and exciting life is with so much Abundance to share and enjoy.

2. Imagine what you would like to have more abundantly in your life, then give a little of that away to someone else. Give it freely, knowing there is more than enough to go around and it is easy to get as much as you want.

3. Go to a favorite non profit website and make a donation to their cause. Feel the Abundance of having enough to give some away.

4. Take a few cans of food to your local food bank and feel grateful for the Abundance of food you have in your life.

5. Go through your clothes closet and other possessions and give the extras to a local shelter. It is a great feeling to have so much that you have extra to share.

6. Smile at a stranger or assist someone, even in a very small way, like holding a door open for them, or letting them into the lane of traffic. Notice how good you feel offering even a small act of kindness.

7. Be aware of the many ways in your life you are already abundant and feel grateful.

8. Celebrate your Abundance as it arrives in both large and small amounts. Every act of appreciation creates even more joyful Abundance for you.

9. Learn more about The Five Laws of Abundance posted on this website under the Gold Coin button.

10. Know you are deeply loved and take the chance to believe all of this is truly possible

Meditation can be so personal, what works for one may or may not be the "right" match for someone else. But there are a couple videos here you may not have seen.

One is in the "Healthy Lifestyle" group. On the main page of the group is a Natural Healing Meditation video. You can listen while watching the video. Or close your eyes and let her guided imagery guide you through a Healing meditation. It can be very soothing to listen to her voice as she guides you through a wonderful visualization for each layer, body, mind and spirit. Worth trying it out.

Second, Paul posted a Sai Babba "Make a wish" video. If you resonate at all with this Eastern teacher, you can watch the face and visualize or "pray" your wish your prayer. Sometimes that can keep the mind and heart focused for a few minutes even through chronic pain. Or tears. To let that prayer free. And the prayer is felt and heard.

I know how difficult it is to focus/calm the mind and spirit while the body is hurting. Meditation, or quieting the mind, is hard enough for most people, but with so much pain in the body, it is an even greater challenge. but I know from experience it can also be with greater rewards. and your body will receive healing too.

I like a simple meditation where I lay as comfortably as I can, listening to soothing music, or in silence just before sleep, and I breathe in on the word: "I"
then I breathe out on the words: "am Light."
then, breathe in: "I"
breathe out on: "am Love."
"I" "am Light"
"I" "am Love".
repeat these as the mantra on the In and Out breaths.

Because these words are TRUTH, they can help to give the mind something to easily resonate with and relax to, even while the body is hurting. Plus, the truth of these words brings healing throughout the body.

Dear Rain, you are so so precious. Such a precious One. Truly. Never give up on the possibility of increasing your relief. You have already gotten out of the chair. Remember?

Another thing to keep focus on, is just letting energy move through you. Through your body. When we feel so much emotional hurting, the grief and frustration, from the state of the body, it is so important to not let energy stagnate. That's why I also love this video I will post here...

I watch it and feel the water flowing. As it flows, water = symbol of emotions and energy, as it flows, feel it too, clean strong energy, flowing through your body, moving and flowing with Chi and Lifeforce. Let your energy move as watch it.

You may also want to ask the group to list their favorite visualisation CDs. I have a couple I can share with you too if you want. (have to look up their names) In any case, I hope you might find this one soothing, even for a few minutes. Baby steps. with meditation, baby steps. They will add up. (I know you know this stuff, just a reminder.)

What is your current Wellness Goal or Primary Intent?
I am currently studying art at university. I find my art works to help my recovery and my goal at the moment is to finish this year's course, then next year's, then the year after, then the year after that and then my final year until I get my degree. Whilst doing this I am having to learn different recovery techniques to ensure that I can still stay at uni and live for myself.

I've been Wiccan for about six years+. I was involved in an accident five years ago which has damaged nerves in my spine. I am on a lot of pain medication and have had a lot of treatment but to no avail. It has been six months since I stopped using my wheelchair after the intensive rehab I had. Still going strong.
