I can't wait to watch Benjamin Button! I have environmental sensitivity and sitting in front of the computer too long can be taxing. But as soon as I have some stamina built up...gonna watch it and give my review. Thanks for this Paul!!

I watched "Love Guru" a few days ago with Mike Meyers...some pretty funny stuff. The beginning esp. was great. Though it did get into a seemingly endless run of the same jokes after awhile. It has some crazy funny moments, too. Worth watching if you're in the mood to laugh!

The romantic fantasy "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" led Academy Awards contenders Thursday with 13 nominations, among them best picture and acting honors for Brad Pitt and Taraji P. Henson, and a directing slot for David Fincher.

Other best-picture nominees are "Frost/Nixon," "Milk," "The Reader" and "Slumdog Millionaire."

Have seen Frost/Nixon...Superb portrayal of Nixon's Arrogance and sheer dogged determination of Frost to nail his man in an interview...lots of documentary type feel in the build-up --- to an interview that almost never was.

Milk - Sean Penn as usual is Brilliant -- can not say more as have not finished the whole movie. But you know you can tell in the first 5 mins if the Movie is great or not.

Slumdog Millionaire --- Same as above --- But even more-so due to the immaginative direction of Danny Boyle who just shines brighter with every movie.

Am Saving Benjamin Button for a rainy Day.

A GOOD Laugh is Ghost Story --- Ricky Gervais & Gregg Kinnear are priceless in this.

Much Love
I AM just sensitive to Soap ***=)

I want to see them all. What do you think between a win for Sean Penn (his time is overdue) or Mickey Rourke (something about his performance is feeling "winner" today for some reason). Maybe I can take a peek at those first five minutes at least!... I'll get there.

Oh the Wrestler seems wierd in the first 5 mins --- you have to stick with it ... so get a cup of tea ... cuddle up with your Pets and Watch a Barton-Fink Wrestling PIC... you will not be disappointed ***=)

Remember --- with these movies ...LET THEM LOAD ....or the voices are off sync...

I pick one for the day --- to watch as & when ... let it load and go shopping /shower / exercise ... you get the Pic...

Just Watched "The Graduate" with my Girlfriend - who had never seen it before --- I LOVE Sharing a Movie with a Loved ONE when it is their first experience and you know they are going to BE moved in many ways. Hightens the Moments --- Ripens the LOVE.

Also LOVE watching Classic Movies over again...The Music also takes you back to the time when you first watched it --- so activating a rejuvination process --- essential for recovery.

Harold & Maude next...

From Simon & Garfunkel to Cat Stevens .... Hey Hey ... What a Groovy Day!!!

You know, we just watched "The Insider" again yesteray. I had forgotten, or not noticed before, that they guy has a daughter who cannot breathe. (Asthma. ) Interesting connection that he was so driven to stop the tobacco conspiracy.

Also, Sean Penn won SAG tonight. I knew he was going to get this one. Will have to see if first intuition holds for the Oscars. I will get another hit closer to the event I know. Just for fun, I'm with pretty good odds on intuiting the winners. It's a little game I play with myself.

btw, rented "Little Buddah" from the library, no less. Have you seen it? It's got a great rendition of the Buddah's story with Keanue Reeves.

Have fun, movie lovers!

Hi Everyone:
Please don't disllike me, but I'm 'all movied-out'. My husband taught Film Arts and we don't tend to see new movies now. However, we are hooked on the Canadian TV show "Corner Gas" and we hear it's going to be made into a film. Now THAT we'll run out to see!!
