I love when Tolle says (I'm paraphrasing) that "the only perpetrator in the world is unconsciousness. that fact brings us to true forgiveness. it takes us out of victim mode and frees us from the past, and helps us to get to compassion. instead of fighting the darkness, we bring in the Light." (my version of his teaching)
I also love this quote:
“Accept the present moment and find the perfection that is untouched by time.”
Sorry, but I'm not able to give my favourite passage as the ENTIRE book is inspiring. I'm on my third reading, this time with pencil in hand and making notes (for myself) in the margins.
Tolle has (through his writings) pushed me in the "NOW" direction. Ego is attached to the past;ego is looking to the future. No more ego!
