Hi Sarah, Out of the book
mediate for the next few nights to see if any thing will come through for you.. It is a sign of intutive wisdom, think about the dream the enviroment around in the dream, also if you are near a book store take a look from the book on OWLs, Something is trying to bring knowledge to you or you should take up a new quest..Let me know if brings insight to you and your dream..Since you hike a lot this was just your spirit setting up a stage that you would relate to and then added the OWl, and then you saw my Dream Section and here we are..lol...Things just work that way under the Law of Attraction.

<>Searching Around in your Dreams<>

Hunting for a misplaced item is frustrating. However, discovery can be a pleasant reward. In dreams about searching, whether the dream ends with or without finding the object is important to its meaning.
If the dream resolves itself, it is important to note what or who you were looking for, and how those things were found. Think about the relationship that exists between the object and who (if anyone) helped you find it. Many times, the thing that is lost in the dream reflects an area of life where we are feeling incomplete or ineffective. Finding it in partnership with others may be a cue to seek outside wisdom in the resolution of the circumstances.

A 48-year-old man reports dreaming: I am looking for my car keys. They are nowhere to be found. I am turning the house upside down, yelling at my wife, and generally coming unglued. My daughter is out, and I begin to blame her. A friend of hers comes in and says I should look in the front door. I do. My keys are there.

This searching dream is interesting because the man reported throughout counseling how anxious he was concerning his daughter's driving. The loss of control he was feeling in his daughter's life consumed much of his emotional energy. After this dream, he realized that much of the home conflict he was experiencing came from his own anxiety more than actual defiance on the part of his daughter. The insight produced from the dream resulted in a much more peaceable home life for everyone involved.

In an unresolved dream of searching, the dream often illustrates the need to find resolution of an emotional trauma. The unresolved search can be for an object or a person.

Some common versions of the person dream include the crying baby that cannot be found, chasing a runaway whom you cannot locate, or receiving a message that cannot be returned. These dreams may occur in periods of extended grieving, such as the death of a loved one.

Another unresolved search sce! nario is the unfound place or item. For example, you may have a map in a dream that leads to no where. Or perhaps you simply lose an object by setting it on the table. Dreams of this nature can give tremendous insight into the goals of your life and how effectively you are actualizing them. If you are having a lot of these types of dreams, it may be that you need to examine whether your goals and your behavior are consistent or mutually exclusive.

Thanks for the encouragement Nancy. I have been researching dream interpretation on the net and found some really great info, and some wonderful sites that help with interpretations. I guess I now need to go buy some books as well :)

More about Colors,
I have a short list of the meaning of colors that U might want to make a note of to use or just to start to understand more about what colors mean when they show up in dreams or what you might want to use in certain situations.

Purple - Cools the nerves. Self-esteem, spirituality, transformation, nobility, enlightenment.

Grey - Neutral, conservative, balanced. Security, modesty, dignity.

Brown - Grounding, orderly, conventional, homey. Comfort, stability, material life.

Black - Dramatic, committed, serious. Mysterious, containing potentials, restful or fearful.

White - Cooling, restful. Purity, divinity, simplicity.

Hello StarAngel, this is a beginning of Dreams that you will be having due to your Faith you have in your guides. Now this is what I did when I Needed more to raise my understanding. I followed the guidance of a Lady that was knee deep in the studies of the Unity teachings out of Kansas City. When need more,,,,,,More effort must be made....... So I bought books on this and that and in your case you would been a fit in Buying dream books, giving you Universal Symbols.
You would find, for examples...Dreaming of water,,,Water is the consciences...Wrecking a car,,,The body is shown by a car or truck or even a plane or ship...( Colors may show up and to have the knowledge of the vibrating color that add to you understanding what the dream is telling..) Every room in a house has a great many number of meaning, ( Example a bathroom dream may be telling you, that you are having problems below the waste line to the Hips...).
Windows are interesting, they are how your looking out or in at the world,,,are they clean broken, toooooo shiny.
Isn't this all soooo interesting,,,and I thank you for asking,,

Bye for now so u can go and buy your looks..haha..

Nancy, I have just started asking my guides for some specific answers/guidance/information to a certain situation, and that I receive these answers in my dreams (I talk to my guides right before sleep). Since then I have been remembering parts of my dreams, and it all seems relevant. Do you have any advice for me about this?
Any help you can give me in how to get the most out of this, or any particular way I should go about this, would be very welcome. Blessed Be, StarAngel

<>SARCASM IN DREAMS<>

Have you ever heard the old saying, That Sarcasm can be a way a person really feels about you or the subject you are trying to explore.

Laughing at the unappreciated time when you are talking can tell you more about this un-feeling, rudeness of this fellow man. (now don't sock them) lol ( It's best to compose ones-self and laugh with them and then take back your control of what you were expressing.)

IN YOUR "THE LAND OF DREAMS" YOU ARE as open to humor, sarcasm, as they are to any other part of your personality. Sarcasm is a particularly interesting facet of humor that emphasizes the shortcomings of a person. Consequently, whether you initiate or are the butt of the sarcasm shows something about your place in the dream.

Sometimes, the entire dream falls into this category. The dream is almost a cruel joke played upon you. This may be a dream that sheds light on your relationships or potential in the world. This dream may occur when you are in a situation that could potentially place you in circumstances that are way over your head.

Dream sarcasm often has metaphorical meaning related to waking events and vice-versa. For example, a phrase used by others to torment you may become a central object in the dream that you either worship or loathe

I love the idea of this group. From time to time I have very vivid dreams, so it would be wonderful to learn more about the messages cloaked in my dreams. I am looking forward to learning more about this. Blessed Be, StarAngel
