<>You Might As Well Get Happy<>

That's right, you might as well get Happy, Christmas, will soon be here and we must remember the reason we celebrate that day, pass that on to the children.
For the days ahead of buying a gift one day should be enough with your list. Then start to make other plans for you and the family.... A drive to look at the lights is a great adventure for the family, we usually take two cars, and that is fun to load up and then a trip for ice cream and home we go and it seems to work.

There's very little you'll do that will turn out badly right now. Should you take advantage of this fact? Absolutely. Start early with the house, Tackle everything you've been putting off with renewed zest. Set your pace, and plan ahead for the things that all of you can do,

No one ever needs the true source of your inspiration. Milk it for all it's worth.
(Planning is a Good Thing)

Do you have a few tips for keeping your cost down and still have a great time?

I love this topic, thanks Nancy! I have cut down to 1/2 time work at the moment meaning I have 1/2 the income.
I made lot's of Saskatoon jelly in the fall so have decided to make scones and wrap both up in a basket to pass along to neighbors and aquantainces.
* I found some wonderful sites with meaning of names, astrology & name numbers I have put them together added some pictures, printed them off and put them in $store frames...individual for close friends.
*I also plan to start on the 1rst of Dec. to pull out and display 2 decorations every day, whether I feel like it or not,

crank the Xmas tunes, rock & roll to uplift me and dance away!
Hey Sarah:

Even though I'm not a huge fan of this season, I do love that Chuck Berry tune! And.......I'm trying really hard to get into some sort of Christmas spirit!

Marianne (music helps)
Dear Marianne...I can really relate to how your are feeling. My whole being wants to jump in bed, pull the covers over my head, and wake up on the 26th. Alas, I can't do that...my son expects Xmas!! So HO HO I go...hoping the cheer will really come this year. And for you my friend I hope so too!!

Great thinking, and a fantastic attitude,

here is something I have found out in the last 20 years and this is about us GALS. Don't wear old clothes, fix your hair and face then spray a lovely Cologne on you as you step out into the other part of your home.
This is a true way to make your self feel better,,,Try it for about three days in a row and then don't do it and then you tell me,,,Duh...LOL..

It works, it works, and even the UPS guy will notice the beauty.

Nancy Anderson..

...whiskers on kittens &

warm fuzzy mittens!!

...Brown paper packages tied up with string...these really are a few of my favorite things!!

Thanks Nancy...I'm havin fun!!!

I found it!! this is my favorite...it makes me smile and think of winter & christmas!!!
The pictures are GREAT, Kitty Cat and you should be Movie stars, but I don't thing "Macy" in New York would buy into the gift wrap,,,But I would and I'm going to...I have used The bright colored funny papers also..
I'll add my story,to your favorite song.. OK.

A long time ago in 1968 (I think it was that year) but, when the Movie came out, My Husband who is a C.P.A. working for a firm in Oklahoma City, was what they called a counter...he had to stand where the People came in to see the Movie and had a hand counter to keep track of the attendance and to see if the Tickets balanced...this went on for weeks and weeks all over the USA, He heard the song so much I'm so afraid to play it again...lol..

If you go to my page you can see my Sadie Lou on Jack's desk doing taxes work for her supper..
Hi Nancy:
You are so right about always fixing ourselves up especially with a lovely scent. Since I get migraines from perfume, I've started using the Crabtree & Evelyn Body Cremes as a daily scent. Today, I'm wearing Rose and it DOES lift the spirits. (Hubby likes it, too.)

Another thing we can do (if we find this season a tad upsetting) is have a pampering day. A manicure won't break the bank and it will make a difference in how we see ourseles and the world.

Love your Sadie Lou photos...and what a beautiful family you have. O.K today is the first of Dec. I have sprayed myself with my favorite scent...down to the basement I go, to pick my two Christmas Ornaments of the Day to unpack & put out...my son will put out two when he gets home from school!! (It's always so much for fun putting them out, then putting away!)
